(DAILY CALLER) -- Dan Rather, who bungled a major story about George W. Bush’s National Guard service, bemoaned in a Monday interview that President Trump criticizes the press.
On “The Today Show,” Rather admitted that journalists need to “do a better job,” and explained, “our job is to bear witness, to be the honest brokers of information, to be as accurate and as fair as we possibly can.”

However, the journalist known for peddling fake news about former President Bush whined that the press is “under attack.”
