(RTE) The death toll in the militant attack on a mosque in Egypt's North Sinai yesterday has risen to 305 killed, including 27 children, and 128 more people were wounded, MENA state news agency said.
Egypt has launched airstrikes against the militants they believe were responsible for the attack and vehicles used by the suspected gunmen were hit.
Militants detonated a bomb and gunned down worshippers yesterday in the deadliest such attack in Egypt's modern history yesterday.

State media showed images of bloodied victims and bodies covered in blankets inside the Al Rawdah mosque in Bir al-Abed, west of El Arish, the main city in North Sinai.
