The mainstream media keep criticizing Trump's use of Twitter. But should we trust what comes from them about Trump?
Does Trump have the best interests of American workers at heart?
How would you get any information counter to what the media puts out if not for Trump's use of Twitter to communicate directly with Americans?

Trump, Aug 31, 2016: "There is only one core issue in the immigration debate and this is it: the well-being of the American people."

All Americans ever hear from the fake news media is the plight of people who entered this country illegally … how hard they work, how dangerous their journey was, how they face challenges … there are many more people born in this country or who immigrated legally who face the same challenges. Lower-income Americans are struggling, and uncontrolled borders are making it harder on them, not easier.
…[Our] first duty is to the people already living in this country. That's what putting "America First" means.

But America First is contrary to the special interests of a lot of deep-pocketed multi-billion dollar multinational corporations … [who seek to] drive their labor costs down with workers taking advantage of porous borders … [It's] one reason why you saw most of the corporate money going to Hillary Clinton during the campaign.
The other special interest opposed to America First is the Democratic Party. … immigrants – legal and illegal – overwhelmingly vote Democrat.
Do the media distort the news? Do they present fake news? Yes.
CNN was caught reporting fake news five times in just one week in December. It was all negative and concerned Trump. The Washington Post, the New York Times, NBC, ABC, etc., were all caught multiple times presenting fake news about Trump in 2017. And it was all negative. Pew reports that 93 percent of media reporting concerning Trump is negative.
How did the media portray the election in 2016? The following are a few examples:

- "Donald Trump's chances of winning are approaching zero" –Washington Post, Oct 24, 2016
- "Donald Trump stands a real chance of being the biggest loser in modern elections" – Huffington Post, Oct. 27, 2016
- "Our final map has Clinton winning with 352 electoral votes" – Los Angeles Times, Nov. 6, 2016
The mainstream media were trying to create sentiment against Trump, and they were trying to create momentum for Clinton.
In reality, Trump won with 306 electoral votes to Clinton's 232 while the media stumped for Clinton and pushed their bias. The same is true today. Mainstream media reporting cannot be trusted.
Is there big momentum for Democrats? No. It's just an illusion created by the media.

The special election in Alabama was not about Democratic momentum. It was just an anomaly. The Democrat won by 20,000 votes. Conservatives ran as independents to draw votes from Roy Moore. If there had been no write-in votes for independents, then Moore would have won. Any Republican other than Moore would have won in a landslide.
The Virginia election for governor wasn't about Democratic momentum, as the mainstream media claim. The two prior governors (Tim Kaine and Terry McAuliffe) are Democrats, and both current U.S. senators (Kaine and Mark Warner) are Democrats. There have been huge demographic changes in northern Virginia in the last decade. Federal government workers have been moving from D.C. to Virginia, and they turned it into a blue state more than 10 years ago. Clinton won Virginia in 2016, and so did Obama in 2008 and 2012. Virginia's incumbent was a Democrat. If the Democrat hadn't won the race for governor, then that would have been big news.
The facts are clear: The mainstream liberal media cartel cannot be trusted to report the news accurately and fairly. And Trump is putting working Americans first as he makes America great again.
But how would you know all that if not for Trump using Twitter? Let Trump be Trump.
