I'm a 75-year-old disabled widow of 12 years and have to live with my daughter and her family. She has five children. She and her husband have to work two jobs just to pay bill. I have never understood taxes, but lately with the tax reform news, there is something I picked up on.
The corporate tax rate will remain permanent, meaning it will not go up; it will be same always. But it was mentioned that the lower middle-class tax rate will not be permanent. It will go up gradually to the point where the government will have to do it all over again.
I would like to know why the rich people (corporate) get a permanent tax cut and the middle class doesn't. What I call this is "redistribution of wealth" – taking from the working people and giving it to corporate/rich people/people who never worked for it.
I call this stealing.
