(Conservative Review) -- Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is reportedly prepared to shut down the government if he can’t get the Senate to vote on his proposal to grant amnesty to at least three million illegal immigrants.
Roll Call reports that Sen. Graham is one of two Republicans, along with Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D., who intends to vote against the proposed short-term continuing resolution.
The government will shut down Friday if Congress fails to pass a spending measure. Democrats are refusing to support a spending bill that does not address the 800,000 or so Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program recipients — illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and were unconstitutionally granted legal status by President Obama in 2012 — and with 60 votes needed to keep the government open, every Republican in the GOP’s slim 51-vote majority is vital.

According to Roll Call, Graham is withholding his vote for the CR as he “continues to push for a vote on his proposal to address the pending expiration of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program” — lining up with Democrats to hold up the vote over amnesty for DACA recipients.
