Arnold Schwarzenegger says he’s sold on the idea of suing Big Oil companies “for knowingly killing people all over the world.”
How have they done this?
By being complicit in pumping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and contributing to man-made, catastrophic climate change.
How do I respond to this calmly?
- There is no evidence whatsoever that man-made catastrophic climate change is anything but a hoax perpetrated by the left and globalists in search of an issue to destroy national sovereignty.
- There is no evidence that even one person has died as a result of man-made climate change.
- There is no evidence human activity has contributed to a rise in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
- There is no evidence a rise in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is a bad thing.
- There is no evidence that even one person in the world has died from rising levels of carbon dioxide, which have occurred throughout the history of the planet, even before the industrial age.
By the way, since Schwarzenegger is going to sue oil companies for their complicity in murder, has he looked in the mirror and questioned his own personal responsibility? Does Schwarzenegger drive cars? Does he fly on airplanes? If so, what about his own degree of complicity in this phantom crime?
He claims that oil companies have known about the threat of global warming since 1959, yet in the early 1970s we were told by some of the same experts who today whine about global warming that the Earth was facing another Ice Age that would kill us all.
How do I put this nicely? This is absolute madness.
I almost hesitate to ask why Schwarzenegger, when he served as governor of California, didn’t send in the California Highway Patrol to arrest these mass murderers. Why didn’t he instruct his attorney general to indict the heads of the oil companies?
This is what happens to you when you live too long in Hollywood and marry into the Kennedy family.
“This is no different from the smoking issue,” Schwarzenegger says. “The tobacco industry knew for years and years and years and decades, that smoking would kill people, would harm people and create cancer, and were hiding that fact from the people and denied it. Then eventually they were taken to court and had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars because of that.”
Yes, and by 1960, there wasn’t a single smoker in America who didn’t know the risks they were facing. Yet, even today millions of people choose to smoke.
I’m trying to imagine what life would be like if the results of Schwarzenegger’s prosecution of the oil companies resulted in shutting down the refining of oil.
Do you know how many Americans would freeze to death in the first winter?
Do you know how many would starve to death in the first year because there was no other way to supply the American people with food?
Schwarzenegger thinks he will bring justice by requiring gas stations to post warnings.
“We’re going to go after them, and we’re going to be in there like an Alabama tick,” he says. “Because to me it’s absolutely irresponsible to know that your product is killing people and not have a warning label on it, like tobacco. Every gas station on it, every car should have a warning label on it, every product that has fossil fuels should have a warning label on it.”
This is just sophistry.
No one need worry about dying from carbon dioxide. In fact, life on the planet could not exist without it. Does Schwarzenegger have something against trees? It’s what they breathe, for heaven’s sake. And it’s what we exhale.
Maybe Schwarzenegger should stop flapping his gums so much about things he doesn’t comprehend and save us from his own hot air.
