This is a wanted feature, but blind obedience is not always what you really want, and it can be expensive.
Apparently, Siri can buy you things, but she can also hear more than we think and responds to singers' instructions. It's not so much a worry if it's "How much is that doggy in the window?" or "Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird," but to paraphrase Janis Joplin, "'So Siri, won't you buy me a Mercedes-Benz?"

Of course, it could be still worse if the TV is on and the shopping channel is in the background for a few hours.
Technology can bring us great benefits, but we should decide what it brings to our life and not worry about what the mail is bringing us next.
