(Birmingham News) A former Blount County teacher who had inappropriate sexual behavior with three different high school boys has been ordered to report to jail on Monday.
The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals on Friday denied an application for a rehearing made by Ashley Parkins Pruitt. The Court in April upheld her conviction, stating she undisputedly was a school employee and that all three boys were under the age of 19. Pruitt was arrested in November of 2014 when she turned herself into authorities.

Pruitt was initially charged with three felonies and two misdemeanors, and later indicted on the same charges: two counts of providing pornography to a minor, two counts of sex act with a student, one count of sex contact with a student involving three different students.
