(ABC News, Australia) MONA has a reputation for stirring up controversy, and the museum has managed to do it again by quite literally shaking up a common cocktail.
The Hobart-based art giant is serving what it calls a Black Margarita — which contains a pig's eye — at its Faro Bar.
"Each pig's eyeball is frozen and hand carved into a sphere of ice," a museum ad states.

"Slurp it down quick before it melts or risk gristle in your gob."
The dark refreshment has animal welfare groups rolling their eyes, with Emma Hurst from PETA saying MONA's quest to be "edgy" was off the mark.
