Ouch! Rope swing goes horribly wrong for woman

(DAILY MAIL) -- What seemed like a fun idea to take a leap off a cliff into a lake with a rope swing left a woman in Kansas with broken bones.

The woman, named Shelby, didn't following the proper technique, and ended up breaking her left ankle and her left foot in four places, according to her friend.

'[Shelby] didn’t wrap her legs around the rope,' the friend wrote in the caption of a video of the calamity, which took place at Perry State Park and was posted on July 4.
