The rhetoric against President Trump occasionally has drawn the interest of law enforcement officials.

Madonna, for example, said she was just trying to "express herself" when she made threats against the president during Women's March in Washington in January 2017.

"Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House," she told fellow Trump-haters.

Almost immediately, she sought to "clarify."

"I am not a violent person, I do not promote violence and it's important people hear and understand my speech in its entirety rather than one phrase taken wildly out of context," she wrote. "My speech began with 'I want to start a revolution of love.'"

The Secret Service, charged with protecting the president, notices all kinds of such rhetoric.

The Daily Caller reports that several members of antifa, the far-left movement known for violent protests against the president and conservatives, may be under scrutiny.

"Multiple members of the progressive protest group who gathered outside the White House Sunday threatened President Trump with physical violence and murder," the report said. "The Secret Service tells The Daily Caller they are now 'aware' of the threats and are 'investigating' the progressive protesters."

The report explained "anarchists, black bloc thugs and armed, masked antifa members" littered the Washington rally even while others carried "Peace" banners.

One potential criminal express a desired to "do" Trump "like Gadhafi."

Another wanted to "murder the president."

"I would murder him, for the people," said another.

The Daily Caller posted a video of the interviews with people whose opinions of the president were expressed with their middle finger.
