I have said it many times before in the last many months as Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his leftist prosecutors, led by the dishonest and rabid Andrew Weissmann and backed up by Mr. “rubber stamp” himself, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, tighten the noose on our 45th president, Donald J. Trump.

The latest bad news, following my update last week in my column entitled “A frightening week in the war to overthrow Trump,” is that the president’s former presidential campaign manager Paul Manafort has struck a plea deal with Mueller whereby he agreed to “cooperate” with the special counsel’s “witch hunt.” Manafort agreed to this in the second Mueller prosecution against him in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia before the less than Honorable Amy Berman Jackson, a highly politicized anti-Trump jurist nominated to the bench by former President Barack Hussein Obama.

This plea and cooperation agreement is significant, no matter how much Trump’s do-nothing legal team composed of Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow seek to minimize it on the latest edition of “Hannity” or some other cable news show. Coming on the heels of Manafort’s conviction before a jury in federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia, where he faces sentencing for what is in effect life, it is clear that this former partner and confidant of Roger Stone – who undoubtedly, as Trump’s longtime adviser and lobbyist, brought Manafort into the 2016 presidential campaign – must now give Mueller and his team something of great magnitude and “prosecutorial value” to incriminate The Donald, in order to convince the federal judges in both jurisdictions to sentence him on the light side.

Indeed, my reference to Stone is crucial here. Mueller’s team has been circling Roger, by hauling before the grand jury a myriad of his former and current confidants and employees. It is clear that Mueller believes that he, along with Manafort, has evidence of Russian collusion. During the presidential campaign, Stone had boasted about his contacts with Julian Assange and WikiLeaks, apparently suggesting he had even met with him in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London where he has been “holed up” and that he knew that the proverbial deep “cow dung” was going to hit the fan with regard to the release of incriminating Hillary Clinton and Democratic emails.

While Roger is known for his panache if not for his shameless, in-your-face statements to enhance his “tough guy” self-described persona, this was not the smartest thing to say. He has succeeded in becoming a prime target, along with the already indicted and convicted Manafort, for Mueller to squeeze in order to get to Trump. And while Stone says that he expects to be indicted but will not break, Manafort clearly has broken, it now appears – not wanting to spend the rest of his life in prison for crimes Mueller does not have the mandate to even consider, much less prosecute. And, as Stone has been close to Manafort over the years, along with Roger’s other cast of characters such as Michael Caputo (who is enjoying his notoriety even on CNN these days), Mueller undoubtedly thinks he can put the final nail in the president’s coffin by taking both Manafort and his former partner Stone to the legal woodshed.

Whatever Manafort or Stone know about the alleged Russian collusion – which is not even a crime – is not the issue. Now that Manafort has apparently “flipped,” he will probably give Mueller all the final ammunition the special counsel needs to now indict Roger, however weak and questionable this so-called evidence might be. And if this happens, do not think for one moment that Stone will not, in the end, fold as Manafort has just done.

Mueller’s mission is not to indict the president, but write such a scathing impeachment report that he will politically destroy him, even if not convicted of impeachment, which is unlikely. And doing the bidding of the establishments of both political parties, of which Mueller is a product (how else does one get nominated to be FBI director?), it is clear to me that the special counsel will distort and mislead in this impeachment report, even if there is no evidence of any crime by Trump.

There does not need to be a “crime” to be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors. The standard has never been defined, either in the Constitution or any subsequent opinions by the Supreme Court.

As Mueller is busily writing away as you read this column, the president’s lawyers sit back and allow their client to be dragged to the impeachment guillotine, a prophecy much more likely given the predicted Nancy Pelosi-Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives.

Why, then, are these lawyers not advising Trump to go on offense and join my lawsuit at Freedom Watch to obtain documents from the Office of Special Counsel that will undoubtedly show criminal grand jury leaks by Mueller’s team and the FBI? This would surely end Mueller’s reign of terror, as he would be forced to resign, or the president would then have uncontested cause to fire him.

And, why is the president not joining Freedom Watch’s lawsuits over illegal surveillance by Obama’s intelligence czars, former CIA Director John Brennan and James Clapper, as well as those related to Mueller’s investigation itself, such as Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and the equally infamous Bruce Ohr, to name just a few villains?

Top it all off with the president’s lawyers failing to challenge the constitutionality of Mueller’s witch hunt, and you have it: complete incompetence and legal malpractice by them!

It’s time, in the endearing words of Cher in the hit movie “Moonstruck” of years ago, for The Donald to “snap of out it. ” Cher’s entreaty, of course, applied to her leading man, Nicholas Cage, after he proclaimed his undying love for her, which at the time the character did not want to return.

President Donald J. Trump, before it is too late, must also snap out of his love for Giuliani and Sekulow and retain new counsel to join with Freedom Watch to save his presidency and the nation as a whole.

Go to www.freedomwatchusa.org to enlist in our Justice League, which recently brought a class action against Google/YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Apple and other social media companies that are complicit with Mueller’s mission to destroy Trump and his fellow conservative supporters, as they have conspired to bring down the president and replace him with a leftist, suitable to their ideologies and favorable to their economic interests.
