Those who funded the caravans should be forced to pay the full cost of sending them home as well as the cost of deploying the military, the extra cost to all the agencies to process them, any damages the caravans did on their way up and any injuries to the individuals who were conned into being political pawns.

Furthermore, those in the caravans have no right to be angry with the U.S. for not welcoming them. They should be angry with the instigators and their own governments. The images of rock-throwing hooligans, human stampedes and a woman complaining about the food they have been given being pig food are telling. How would they like it if strangers invaded their homes and expected them to take care of them and got angry if they didn’t?
