(CNS News) Louisiana state Rep. Katrina Jackson (D) told attendees at the 46th annual March for Life on Friday that when people ask her why she, as a black female Democrat, is pro-life, she says it’s because she’s a Christian first.
“I tell people in my state when they ask me why are you a black female Democrat fighting for life. I say, because I’m a Christian first, and then I tell them that Proverbs say God hates the shedding of innocent blood,” she said. ‘
