Ocasio-Cortez vows to 'run train' on progressive agenda

Progressive darling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is so adept at drawing attention that a comment to the Washington Post on how much attention she is getting from the right has become a story in itself.

The freshman Democrat from the Bronx has been called out for using a slang term known to mean a group of men performing sexual acts on one woman in rapid succession, the Daily Mail of London reported.

She told the Post, discussing how frequently she is covered by conservative media, she will "run train on the progressive agenda."

"Alex from the Bronx should probably know what 'run train' means and why this is hilariously terrible," tweeted Ben Shapiro, the editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire.

The Daily Mail noted that the Urban Dictionary also defines "run train" as a common term among gamers meaning to "do work" on multiple people in a video game.

She was discussing a fake nude photo of her posted on Reddit when the phrase came up. It showed a woman's feet propped up against a bathtub with a reflection of her body in the faucet. Later, porn star Sydney Leathers took ownership for the photo.

"You can tell that they're getting into hysterics because now you're getting into my actual body, which is definitely crossing a level," Ocasio-Cortez said of the photo.

"They're out of all their artillery. The nude is supposed to be like the bazooka. Dude, you're all out of bullets, you're all out of bombs, you're all out of this stuff. What have you got left?

"I'm six days into the term, and you already used all your ammo. So enjoy being exhausted for the next two years while we run train on the progressive agenda."

A blog post for the WIBC radio show "The Chicks on the Right" in Indianapolis" spotlighted Ocasio-Cortez' comment, opening with: "Sweet, delightful, moderately-attractive AOC. So cute, and yet, so lacking of any signs of intelligence. A beautiful train wreck, you are."
