(Washington Times) Sen. Bernie Sanders says he wasn’t aware of sexual harassment and unequal pay for women who worked for his 2016 presidential campaign.
The Vermont Independent told CNN Wednesday he was busy running around the country on the campaign trail, but he apologized to “any woman who feels like she was not treated appropriately.”
According to the New York Times, several women who worked for Mr. Sanders during his 2016 run have come forward, complaining about being paid less and treated poorly.

“I am not going to sit here and tell you that we did everything right in terms of human resources, in terms of addressing the needs that I’m hearing from now, that women felt they were disrespected, that there was sexual harassment which was not dealt with as effectively as possible,” Mr. Sanders told CNN, responding to the claims.
