While some suggest its time for Christians to dump the Old Testament, a best-selling new book finds the gospel of salvation, restoration, mercy and grace “everywhere you look,” says the author.
“The Gospel in Every Book of the Old Testament” by Joseph Farah is back in print after selling out nationwide before Christmas at the very moment at least one mega-pastor is calling for Christians to disengage from the Hebrew Scriptures – including even the Ten Commandments.

“I think it’s a very timely book because it reveals something most Christians simply don’t realize,” said Farah.
“The God of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament. It’s the same message throughout both great books. The prescription for eternal life is found in both. The prescription for the restoration of the world under a Creator-King is found in both. I’m not sure why any Christian would want to discard the Hebrew Scriptures when the gospel’s good news is found throughout them.”

Farah, best known as the founder of WND more than 20 years ago, the first independent online news source, has been studying the Bible for more than 40 years and previously wrote “The Restitution of All Things: Israel, Christians and the End of the Age.”
“The Gospel in Every Book of the Old Testament” is endorsed by dozens of Christian luminaries such as Franklin Graham, Mike Huckabee, Jack Van Impe, Greg Laurie, Eric Metaxas, Chuck Norris, Ben Kinchlow and Pat Boone. It’s been called a “breakthrough Bible book” for re-introducing the Old Testament to believers and non-believers alike with material that will keep them engaged with material that is always relevant and sometimes astounding.

“This is not a time for trashing the Old Testament,” says Farah. “It’s not a time for disengaging. It’s a time for re-engaging and rediscovering the consistency of all of God’s Word.”
