Let me get this up front. I am not a racist, nor am I bigoted against any minority. As a Jew who has accepted Jesus as my Savior, I remain proud of my Jewish heritage. I am also a proud Zionist, who believes that Israel is not just the cradle of civilization but also the homeland of Jews and Christians as well those Arabs who do not seek Israel’s destruction.
That does not mean that peaceful Arabs and other Muslims should be expelled from Israel – and indeed, the Jewish state, unlike all Islamic states, allows Arabs and Muslims to be citizens and participate freely in politics and even be elected as members of the Israeli parliament, known as the Knesset.
But it is also important to recognize the facts of life. Generally speaking, Muslims in Israel, the United States and worldwide hold enmity for Jews and Christians, at an absolute minimum – and that is putting it most diplomatically. To be blunt, this emanates from the teachings of Islam, which generally say that “infidels” such as ourselves must either be eliminated or relegated to at least financial slavery and heavily taxed in the name of allah.
The Islamic “religion,” in doctrine and in practice, also seeks to deny basic rights to gays and lesbians, and in some countries, such as Iran, they are even put to death for their sexual persuasion. And women are not treated much better. Simply put, the Muslim culture, by and large, is not compatible with the Judeo-Christian foundations of our nation. That set of beliefs, including the teaching of the Quran that it’s permissible to lie to advance the Islamic creed, is a primary source of the division between our peoples. Sure, Jews and Christians lie, as does all of mankind, but at least our Ten Commandments does not sanction it.
That does not mean that Muslims who are legitimately American citizens and permanent residents should not be allowed to live here in peace, if they leave the rest of us alone. They must be respected so long as they obey the law and do not seek to force their so-called religious views on society. And, if Muslims are duly elected to Congress or some other government position, this also must be honored under our democratic traditions.
However, vehemently anti-Semitic haters of Jews and Christians – such as newly elected Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, who supports an economic boycott of Israel to destroy it financially and who has reported ties to terrorists and terrorist groups – can be permitted to soldier merrily along without being held to account under the rule of law as they effectively play the so-called “race card” in their defense!
For certain there are those of my own minority Jewish heritage who must also be held to account. And many in the Jewish left, self-hating Jews, also support the economic boycott of Israel and would like to see it destroyed. To name just a few Jews who should be held to account: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who along with former FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI special agents and lovebirds Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, and former FBI General Counsel James Baker, engaged in a traitorous cabal designed to wage a coup d’etat against President Donald J. Trump.
And there was Lois Lerner, who as the head of the Obama Internal Revenue Service’s nonprofit section illegally discriminated against not just conservative groups, but also conservative public interest foundations that support Israel. And, Lerner is Jewish!
The bottom line is this: No matter what one’s race, ethnicity, sex or religion, we all must be treated equally in the eyes of the law. Sadly, this has not been the case, since minorities of all persuasions these days seem to have more rights in practice than the majority. Just look at the leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, who routinely not just attacks Jews, using such names as “termites,” but has also advocated their extermination, calling Hitler a great man! And, in the case of Farrakhan, his viciousness does not stop at the door of the Jews and by extension their Christian brothers and sisters. Farrakhan is widely believed to have been responsible for the murder of Malcolm X, who was his black Muslim rival before he seized control of the Nation of Islam following the reign of its founder Elijah Mohammed.
There is simply no place for hatred in our nation, particularly when it threatens the lives of “non-believers.”
And, that is why I urge you to read the linked request for an investigation and possible commencement of deportation proceedings concerning Rep. Omar. She has apparently, at a minimum, by way of marrying her brother so that he could ultimately become an American citizen, committed immigration fraud, for which, if demonstrably proven, she could be denaturalized as an American citizen herself and be deported back to Somalia or Kenya, from which she hails.
I take this cause on not because I have enmity against Ilhan Omar, but because vile persons such as this must not be permitted to evade the law simply because they are part of an American minority group and can effectively play the” race card.” And, that is not to mention her reported dangerous connections to terrorist interests.
When I founded Judicial Watch 25 years ago, I adopted the motto “Because No One Is Above the Law!” In today’s hate-filled world, those who practice hate must be held to account no matter what their minority status and background, and that goes for the likes of Rod Rosenstein and Lois Lerner as well!
