Good for Milwaukee for snagging the Democratic National Convention for 2020! However, something troubling appears in rule No. 1 of the “12 Rules For City in DNC Convention Contract.”
It states: “Armed patrols are required for the convention offices, staging areas and convention hotels.” Armed patrols? This requirement violates one of the core beliefs about “gun violence” preached by Democrats. I would challenge the mayor and Milwaukee Democrats to take a principled stand against “gun violence” and instead of armed patrols print numerous signs stating “NO WEAPONS ALLOWED!”
