There are skirmishes almost daily in the war between those who want to protect preborn human life and those who advocate destroying it.
In the wake of Alabama's law banning most abortions, a pro-abortion cartoon from actor Jim Carrey, the comedic star of films such as "Dumb and Dumber" and "The Truman Show," has Samaritan's Purse CEO Franklin Graham wondering how Twitter allows such "hate."
Supporters of the Alabama law hope it will prompt a court challenge that leads to overturning the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision establishing a right to abortion.
Carrey's cartoon showed an abortionist sucking the governor to pieces.
He wrote: "I think If (sic) you're going to terminate a pregnancy, it should be done sometime before the fetus becomes Governor of Alabama."

The Alabama law came after New York passed a law essentially allowing abortion up to birth. Virginia nearly passed a law that would allow infanticide in case of a botched abortion, as infamously confirmed by Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam in an interview.
Graham reacted to Carrey's "cartoon."
"That's sick. Did you see Jim Carrey's tweet with his drawing showing AL Gov. Kay Ivey being 'aborted' – sucked apart by an abortionist? Well it just shows that Jim Carrey and others do know beyond any doubt that abortion is the taking of another person's life – murder. Wonder why Twitter doesn’t have a problem with Jim Carrey’s threatening message of hate?"
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, called out Carrey for his "vicious" and "angry" attack on life.
"This is not OK," the senator tweeted. "Today's Left: vicious, angry & consumed by hate. Instead of insults & dehumanizing rage, we should return to civility. I disagree w/ Carrey's politics, but believe we should respect his humanity nonetheless. I wish he could reciprocate. #LoveIsStrongerThanHate."
Georgia is among a number of states that have moved to further restrict abortion since President Trump's appointment of two justices who have moved the Supreme Court further to the right.
Fox News reported the negative reaction to Carrey's cartoon.
"Thank you for the truly accurate (and therefore horrifying) portrayal of abortion... sucking out the brains of a PERSON because that person is inconvenient to you. You blessed the pro-life movement with this," said Liz Wheeler, a host for the One America News Neetwork, OANN.
Political and social commentator Ben Shapiro said, "This is a pretty great depiction of an abortion: clinically accurate, and wiping out an individual human life."
"At least you seem to know how grisly an abortion is. Your image is accurate down to the abortionist’s cannula suctioning out the brain matter of the fetus, sort of like a serial killer at work...you do know what an abortion looks like. Bravo!" wrote Obianuju Ekeocha of the Culture of Life Africa.
Fox News noted Twitter states in its rules under "hateful conduct" that the company will permanently suspend any account that includes a "violent threat ... incites fears, or reduces someone to less than human,' and under 'glorification of violence,' a user will be suspended for 'specific threats of violence or wishing for serious physical harm, death, or disease to an individual or group of people."
Twitter user Sharon responded to Carrey: "He has actually gone too far insane. This 'painting' is not the work of a sane individual."
