(Chicago Tribune) At least 22 people were wounded in overnight city shootings within 10 hours beginning at about 7:15 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, Chicago police said.
The latest attack happened about 5 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Union Avenue in the Pilsen neighborhood.
A 28-year-old man and woman were in a vehicle when a light-colored car pulled alongside and someone fired shots, striking them both. The man was struck in the arm and the chest, and was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital.
