(The Blaze) Former-President Jimmy Carter said that he does not believe that President Donald Trump won the 2016 election.
Taking part in a panel on Thursday that was broadcast on C-SPAN, Carter was asked about Russian interference in the 2016 election. This panel was hosted by the former president's own Carter Center.
"There's no doubt that the Russians did interfere in the election," he responded. "And I think the interference, although not yet quantified, if fully investigated would show that Trump did not actually win the election in 2016. he lost the election, and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf."
