(DAILY MAIL UK) – A Michigan man who is accused of fatally shooting his wife was almost attacked by her son during a court appearance on Monday.
Vashon Flowers, 46, is charged with murder in the death of Jamie Thomas-Flowers at their Muskegon Heights home, near Grand Rapids last month.
Courtroom video shows the session about to start when suddenly, London Thomas, Thomas-Flowers' son, leaps up from his seat and jumps across a barrier.

He then sprints across the room in an effort to attack Flowers, who was in the jury box at the time, speaking with his public defender.
Thomas never made it to Flowers but he did come within inches before he was dragged by law enforcement.
He then ended up wrestling with several court officials before he was overpowered and knocked to the floor by court officers and arrested.
