U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is part of the "squad" of four far-left newcomers to Congress that has, among other things, been accused of anti-Semitism.
She's now doubled down, stating "absolutely" that Israel is criminal.

It happened in an interview by Ebro Darden on WQHT radio in New York City.
Darden asked about "white supremacist Jews" and then stated, "'And what's going on with Israel and Palestine, while it's very, very, deep, it is very, very, criminal, and it is very, very unjust."

Ocasio-Cortez agreed, saying, "Absolutely."
And she charged the "Netanyahu administration very similar to the Trump administration."

"The right wants to advance this notion that if you engage in critique of Israeli policy that your are anti-Semitic. But it's the furthest thing from the truth," she said.

DailyMail.com reported she also claimed Palestinians have no choice but to riot against Israel.
"Criticizing the occupation doesn't make you anti-Israel," she said. "It doesn't make you against the existence of a nation. It means that you believe in human rights. It's about making sure Palestinian human rights are equal to Israeli human rights."

She then explained her concept of Palestinian rights.
"I believe that injustice is a threat to the safety of all people, because once you have a group that is marginalized and marginalized and marginalized – once someone doesn't have access to clean water, they have no choice but to riot, right? And it doesn't have to be that way," she said.
President Trump has been calling the "squad" out for their radical views.
"So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion," he wrote on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez has become a thorn for House Democrats concerned about maintaining their majority in 2020, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The New York congresswoman was instrumental in convincing Amazon to cancel its plan for a second headquarters, in New York City, that would have created 25,000 jobs.
During a congressional hearing, she demanded that Wells Fargo CEO Timothy Sloan explain why his company was involved in "caging children." He patiently explained the company wasn't engaged in any such activity.
She's openly wondered whether it's OK "to still have children" in light of the world "ending in 12 years."
She's complained that her salary of $174,000 wasn't enough to fight back against "dark money loopholes."
At a hearing, an FBI agent repeatedly corrected Ocasio-Cortez on policy, practice and the law as she attempted to "turn white supremacy into domestic terrorism."
And she has insisted on subpoenas for certain members of the Trump administration with security clearances because she feared they will be "putting nuclear codes in Instagram DMs."

She also has trashed prayer, writing after a shooting, "What good are your thoughts & prayers when they don't even keep the pews safe?"
