Former Vice President Joe Biden raised eyebrows when he claimed to CNN's Chris Cuomo that Russia didn't interfere in any elections while he was vice president and wouldn't dare try if he were to win the presidency in 2020.
In an interview aired Friday, Biden referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin's interference in elections in Europe under President Trump.

"While Putin's trying to undo our elections, he's actually undoing elections in, in Europe," Biden said. "Look at what's happening in Hungary ... look at what's happening! You think that would happen on my watch, on Barack's watch? You can't answer that, but I promise you it wouldn't have. And it didn't."
As establishment media have endlessly reminded Americans over the past two years, the U.S. intelligence community determined Russia tried to interfere in the 2016 election during the Obama administration. Special counsel Robert Mueller concluded the same. Mueller, however, found no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to win the election.

The Daily Caller noted President Trump questioned Obama's response to 2016 Russian interference ahead of Attorney General William Barr's testimony on the special counsel's report in May.
"Why didn't President Obama do something about Russia in September (before November Election) when told by the FBI? He did NOTHING, and had no intention of doing anything!" Trump wrote on Twitter May 1.
