What do you want from a president? It’s a simple choice

By Michael Master

What do you want from a president and vice president of the United States? What qualifications are important to you? What policies are important?

Faith

Democrats chose non-Christians for all five of their nominations to the current Supreme Court, including Merrick Garland (Jewish) to replace Antonin Scalia (Christian), while Republicans nominated Christians for all five of their nominations. That is not a coincidence. Those choices are deliberate statements about the values of each party.

Staff

Check the statistics on the percentage of each past president’s Cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment:

38% T. Roosevelt
40% Taft
52% Wilson
49% Harding
48% Coolidge
42% Hoover
50% F. D. Roosevelt
50% Truman
57% Eisenhower
30% Kennedy
47% Johnson
53% Nixon
42% Ford
32% Carter
56% Reagan
51% GH Bush
39% Clinton
55% GW Bush
8% Obama
90% Trump

Only 8% of the Obama/Biden staff ever worked in private business! Obama/Biden and now Biden/Harris have no private sector experience. All were lifelong government. Obama was the only president not to have any executive experience prior to being elected president. So how do they lead a capitalistic country? They don’t. Instead, they turn it into a socialist country.

Individual experience

Trump/Pence: Both have private industry experience, business experience, executive experience.

Biden/Harris: Both are lawyers, all experience is in government, no private industry experience, part of the deep state.

Why did Biden pick Harris when there are many other Democrats who are much more qualified with experience in private sector, government and executive jobs, such as Joe Manchin or Sherrod Brown? Why? Race? Gender? Are decisions based on gender and race OK with you? How is that not racism and gender bias? All this while the liberal media cartel is trying to paint Harris as qualified.

The economy

Prior to the China virus, the Trump economy set new records for employment, average worker wages, lowest unemployment rates since 1953 and lowest unemployment rates in U.S. history for blacks and Hispanics. Oil production increased so much that the nation achieved energy independence for the first time since Eisenhower. Manufacturing rebounded from the losses under Obama/Biden. China was stopped from its exploitation of America – same with the U.N., NATO, Paris Accord, TPP and NAFTA. Prior to the virus, all stock market indexes and GDP reached record highs.

These numbers are from Kiplinger Magazine, September 2020:

Average annual returns on S&P 500 since 1933 when different parties are in power:

When Republicans control both the White House and Congress = 13%.
When Democrats control both the White House and Congress = 9%.
When Republicans control White House and Democrats control Congress = 5%.
When Democrats control White House and Republicans control Congress = 13%.

Why is stock growth so low when Republicans control the White House and Democrats control Congress? Because Democrats obstruct the president for political gain. Just look what Trump had to do to get a $400 extension to unemployment benefits. He did an end run around Pelosi and Schumer. Republicans in Congress compromise with Democratic presidents for the betterment of Americans, while Democrats in Congress do not compromise with Republican presidents. It is obvious that the U.S. economy does much better when Republicans control Congress, and the best when Republicans control both the White House and Congress.

Taxes and regulations

Again, from Kiplinger Magazine:

“… this election will have important ramifications for your financial well-being. … The person living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave for the next four years matters. … The two parties are as far apart on policy as they have ever been. …

“A Biden administration would target the corporate tax cuts for roll back … higher rates on capital gains and dividends … expansion of payroll taxes … A Trump 2.0 administration would be positive for economic growth and stock market” while Biden’s tax changes could weigh heavily on the stock market.”

Kiplinger’s also points out the dozens of regulations Trump removed across all economic sectors, while a President Biden would “re-regulate” and “boost taxes further down the income ladder.”

Health care

It’s clear that a reelected Trump would ease the government’s hand in health care, while Biden would push for a “public option,” Medicare for All and restoration of the Obamacare mandate penalty.

Who makes the best decisions?

Biden: proposed splitting Iraq into three countries. Obamacare. “You ain’t black (if you vote for Trump).” Iran nuke deal. Burisma. Support for the Green New Deal. Picked Harris instead of Manchin or Brown, or any of the other Democrats who have much more executive experience and private industry experience than Harris – all because race and gender are more important to Democrats than picking the best person for the job. Called the Trump ban on travelers from China racist and xenophobic.

Trump: canceled 900 Obama rules/regulations/executive orders. USMCA. Got the U.S. out of the Iran deal, Paris Accord, TPP. Got countries in NATO and the U.N. to increase their funding. Stopped China from continued the exploitation of America. Tax reforms/reductions. More than 200 federal judge appointments (more than any prior president), almost 100 immigration judges and two Supreme Court justices. Put a ban on travelers from China immediately, saving untold American lives.

So what do you want from a president? Do you want a President Biden, who would reverse all the good things done by Trump to help make America great again? I didn’t think so.
