(INFORMATION LIBERATION) – The socialist Scottish Labour Party on Tuesday claimed to have “made history” with the passage of a bill forcing taxpayers to pay for “free” sanitary products for women and girls.
“Tonight, we have made history,” Scottish Labour said on Twitter. “Scotland will be the first country in the world to make access to free period products a legal right.”
Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon hailed the unanimous passage of the “groundbreaking legislation.”
