Text messages to and from Hunter Biden during a time in his life when he has admitted he was smoking crack cocaine reveal that a Secret Service agent was tasked by “DC” to check up on him, even though since his father no longer was vice president there should have been no official Secret Service detail.
The texts were obtained and reported by the Washington Examiner.
“It’s unclear if Savage was rescuing Biden as a personal friend or in some professional capacity. Given that Biden did not have Secret Service protection at the time, it’s unknown how Savage knew Biden was allegedly in distress in a hotel room,” the report explained.
But the report details how Robert Savage, a supervising agent in the federal agency’s Los Angeles office, told Hunter Biden, via text, “As your friend we need to resolve this in the immediate. Call the front desk now H or I will have to assume you are in danger and we will have to make them give us keys.”
Biden told a CBS interviewer that he spent his time before his 2019 marriage “on my hands and knees, picking through rugs, smoking anything that even remotely resembled crack cocaine. I probably smoked more Parmesan cheese than anyone you know,” the report said.
At the time of the messages, May 24, 2018, Hunter Biden was living in Los Angeles.
According to the Examiner, the exchange was:
Savage: “H- I’m in the lobby, come down. Thanks, Rob.”
Biden: “5 minutes.”
Savage: “Come on H this is linked to Celtic’s account. DC is calling me every 10. Let me up or come down. I can’t help if you don’t let me. H.”
(The report reveals “Celtic” referred to Joe Biden.)
Biden: “I promise be right down. Sorry.”
Savage: “Dales here. He (sic) a going to front desk call and tell them to give us a key now H. As your friend we need to resolve this in the immediate. Call the front desk now H or I will have to assume you are in danger and we will have to make them give us keys.”
Biden: “Really Rob I am coming down right now. I really promise. Was in the bathroom buddy. Coming right this second.”
Savage: “We’re at your door. Open it.”
Hunter Biden’s scandals, some of which were revealed through his own records found on a computer he abandoned at a repair shop, long have been making headlines among conservative media, and have been ignored by legacy outlets.
For example, a recent investigation by the Daily Wire revealed Hunter Biden had his fingers in business pies in Saudi Arabia, Ivory Coast, Oman, Qatar, Taiwan, Zimbabwe, Greece and Mexico, in addition to his highly publicized business dealings in China and Ukraine, while his father was vice president.
Then Breitbart released a report that explains he took 411 trips across 29 countries during the years his father was vice president, including 23 flights in or out of Joint Base Andrews, where Air Force Two is stationed.
Probably the highest profile business deals Hunter Biden engaged in while his father was the VP were with Ukraine and China. Ukraine was where he landed a deal paying him tens of thousands of dollars a month just to sit on the board of a gas company under investigation for corruption. China was where he was working to set up a variety of operations, according to documents that have been revealed about his deals.
His dealings remain newsworthy because of what was uncovered after the 2020 presidential election, narrowly won by his father, Joe Biden.
A post-election survey found more than one-third of voters who chose Joe Biden were not aware of the evidence linking the former vice president to corrupt financial dealings with China through his son Hunter. Had they known, according to the survey commissioned by the Media Research Center, President Trump would have won at least 289 Electoral College votes.
The Daily Wire said it reviewed emails about Hunter Biden’s business dealings that involved dozens of foreign countries, “often corrupt backwaters,” where he often invoked “official channels like ambassadors.”
Hunter Biden’s operations already have proven scandalous for his father, who, while vice president for Barack Obama, openly boasted of threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid if Ukraine’s president did not fire the country’s top prosecutor, Victor Shokin, who at the time was investigating Burisma, the company employing Hunter Biden, for corruption.
A French website reported Shokin later filed a criminal complaint naming Joe Biden and accusing him of committing a “criminal offense” in his campaign to get Shokin fired.
