Washington State governor signs bill to let nurses kill babies in abortions

(LIFENEWS) – Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee signed a pro-abortion bill Thursday to expand the killing of unborn babies in abortions in response to neighboring states’ efforts to save them.

KXLY News reports state House Bill 1851, sponsored by Rep. My-Linh Thai, D-Bellevue, allows nurse practitioners and physician assistants to abort unborn babies in Washington state, as well as doctors.

Inslee, a pro-abortion Democrat, specifically mentioned neighboring Idaho during his bill-signing speech. Earlier this week, the Idaho legislature passed a bill similar to the Texas heartbeat law that bans abortions on unborn babies with beating hearts and allows private citizens to sue abortionists who violate the ban.
