(ISRAEL NATIONAL NEWS) — A Colorado man has been arrested after calling in a death threat against the state’s Jewish secretary of state, Reuters reported.
Kirk Samuel Wertz, 52, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with threatening an elected official.
According to court records, Wertz’s arrest was the first case since state laws against election threats were strengthened and retaliating against elected officials was made a felony in May 2021.
