Kamala Harris, the nation’s vice president, insists that the southern border, leaking two million illegals this year under Joe Biden’s policies, is “secure.”

Which has left even progressives and leftists wondering where that opinion comes from .

“We’re going to have two million people cross this border for the first time ever,” said a”befuddled” Chuck Todd. “You’re confident this border is secure?

The New York Post said Harris’ opinion was “despite the number of illegal migrant arrests on pace to surpass a staggering 2 million this month for the first time ever.”

Harris, in fact, during a television interview, blamed President Donald Trump, whose policies and practices on the border, such as Remain-in-Mexico and the wall construction, were beginning to take effect, before Biden was elected and abandoned them.

She claimed the system “needs to be fixed.”

“The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed,” Harris told host Chuck Todd.

Explained the New York Post, “The veep doubled down when Todd questioned her claim of border security, given the hefty streams of illegal migrants still flooding into the country every month.”

Harris insisted, “We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration. But there are still a lot of problems that we are trying to fix given the deterioration that happened over the last four years.

The report noted that illegal aliens coming across the southern border have totaled 1.94 million already, and that’s up from 1.73 million last year. In 2020 when Trump was president, the number was 458,000.
