A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, for plotting to work with ISIS, a designated foreign terror organization, to blow up a church in Pittsburgh.

The Department of Justice identified the defendant as Mustafa Mousab Alowemer, 24, and said he pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of providing material support to ISIS for the unsuccessful plan to attack a church.

The DOJ explained Alowemer distributed multiple instructional documents about how to build and use bombs to an FBI informer that he thought was a fellow ISIS supporter.

“In or around June 2019, Alowemer purchased several items, including nails and acetone (nail polish remover), with the belief that they were necessary to assemble a destructive device and with the intention they be used to construct the explosives that would be detonated in the vicinity of the church,” prosecutors said.

The suspect then met several times in an undercover FBI employee and provided details about the plot, giving the federal agent boxes of nails for use in a bomb.

Also, “Alowemer provided printed copies of detailed Google satellite maps, which included hand-written markings identifying the church and routes of arrival and escape. Alowemer also wrote and provided a 10-point handwritten plan outlining details related to his plot to personally deliver explosives in a backpack.”

Then he was arrested.

“Alowemer admitted to planning a deadly bombing of a Pittsburgh church in the name of ISIS,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division. “The National Security Division was created to protect the nation from terrorist threats and we remain vigilant against those who would plot violent attacks on U.S. soil in furtherance of an extreme ideology.”

Court documents said Alowemer had picked church on the north side of Pittsburgh, described s a “Nigerian Christian” church to target, in “revenge for our (ISIS) brothers in Nigeria.”

The DOJ noted Alowemer was aware that many people in the area of the church could be killed.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Leftwing billionaire George Soros bankrolls everything evil – most recently the 75 pro-criminal “Soros district attorneys” who have transformed America’s most dynamic cities into degraded, crime-infested hellscapes of skyrocketing violent crime. Soros also funds drug legalization, euthanasia, open borders, globalism, Black Lives Matter, “defunding the police,” devaluing America’s currency and destroying her sovereignty. But why?

Whistleblower magazine reveals and explores the stunning truth: Soros, an atheist, literally says he’s “some kind of god,” obsessed with re-creating the world in his image. Here are a few actual quotes from Soros: “If truth be known, I carried some rather potent messianic fantasies with me from childhood…” “It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out.” “You know, in my personal capacity I’m not actually a selfless philanthropic person. I’ve very much self-centered.” “I am kind of a nut who wants to have an impact.” “Next to my fantasies about being God, I also have very strong fantasies of being mad. … I have a lot of madness in my family. So far I have escaped it.”

Except he hasn’t “escaped it.” Not only is Soros totally mad, but he’s imposing his insanity on America. See Soros and the leftwing world he has created and funded as never before in “THE BILLIONAIRE WHO THINKS HE’S ‘GOD’: Why George Soros is obsessed with destroying America.”
