A fan video of Springsteen smacking his longtime technician in the head with his guitar started circulating today. And it wasn’t just a light toss. Oh no. Springsteen turned, knees bent, and geared up for a moment before launching that sucker straight into the poor technician’s face.

The technician, Kevin Buell, spread his arms wide in an attempt to catch it. He appeared to launch himself forward, overshot the guitar, and missed it with his hands to instead hit it with his head.
