(SLAY NEWS) – Disney’s live-action remake of the classic animated movie “The Little Mermaid” will feature rewritten versions of the original songs with new “woke” lyrics, according to reports. Composer Alan Menken has confirmed that the lyrics have been changed for the new film.
The live-action remake of the popular animated 1989 classic will contain several new songs that won’t include the “sensitive” themes that the originals allegedly contained.
