Last month, Nebraska lawmakers passed legislation protecting preborn children from abortion after 12 weeks gestation. Though most abortions are committed before 12 weeks, making the legislation largely performative, it still infuriated abortion activists, like Lizzo — and now, Jane’s Revenge, the abortion activist group that is being investigated by the FBI for making violent threats against pro-lifers.

The Nebraska Examiner reported that the FBI’s Omaha office has offered a $15,000 reward for information on threatening notes targeting pro-lifers. The incident took place in December, with notes left at the St. John Paul II Newman Center on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus and at the Christ Community Church. Both letters threatened violence, specifically using AR-15s, if an “abortion ban” was put into place.

3NewsNow obtained the letters, the first of which read:

“Dear… if our right to abortion in Bellevue is taken away due to the attempt to pass an abortion ban and it gets passed we will shoot up your Newman center with our new AR14 rifles. Sincerely, Jane’s Revenge.”

That note was found when the SFLAction Political Leadership Workshop arrived to meet with Nebraska pro-lifers from across the state; they quickly moved to a different location, for fear that their safety was at risk.

The second note used similar wording:

“Dear …, if the abortion ban goes into effect in Bellevue we’re going to shoot up your church with our AR14 rifles. Sincerely, Jane’s Revenge.”

Now that the legislation has been passed, authorities may be more concerned about the threats being carried out. They were able to identify a vehicle of interest, a 1998-2004 tan/silver Chevrolet S10 Pickup truck. Anyone with information is being asked to call the FBI Omaha Field Office at 402-493-8688, or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.

Jane’s Revenge is an extremist group responsible for numerous attacks against pro-life offices and pregnancy resource centers since a Supreme Court leak in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case, signaling that Roe v. Wade would soon be overturned.
