(HEADLINE USA) – Former President Donald Trump defeated four other candidates to win a seat on the board of Hubbard Rural Fire Protection District in western Oregon – a race he never filed for and presumably won’t be taking office anytime soon.
The Gateway Pundit reported Trump and four other candidates ended up with two write-in votes each, causing a tie for the position. The County Clerk’s Office performed the dice roll to break the stalemate on June 23, and the 2024 frontrunner for the Republican presidential election won.
“The next step would be to determine if either of the other two candidates who won the dice roll are interested,” Hubbard Fire Chief Michael Kahrmann told the Salem Statesman Journal.
