Giants player goes off rails because his quarterback introduced President Trump

A player for the New York Giants has gone off the rails because he can’t tolerate his quarterback introducing President Donald Trump at a college event.

It is quarterback Jaxson Dart, an up-and-coming star for the team, who recently introduced Trump for an event at Rockland Community College.

“I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump,” the 23-year-old first round pick said.

The Daily Mail said Trump then walked onstage and hugged Dart, describing him as a “future Hall of Famer.”

But Abdul Carter, also a Giants player, expressed his extreme intolerance for Dart’s choice of politics.

“Thought this s*** was AI,” he said on social media. “What we doing man.”

Others on social media noted the change in atmosphere in the league.

“I remember a time when the NFL was writing BLM in their end zones. Now, NFL quarterbacks are introducing President Trump in New York. The American culture is changing,” said one.

Another: “Here’s my thoughts on this: Politics don’t belong in the locker room. Doesn’t matter what side you’re on it’s on going to be divisive. I’m a big fan of Abdul Carter. Kid is super talented. I just wish he would have text/called Jaxson Dart about this instead of posting on social media. Teams are always going to stand by their young QB’s. If they look at you as a divisive locker room presence you won’t be long for the organization.”

Yet another scolded Carter, with the background for those not football fans:

He commenter said Dart, from Utah, “is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints” and was chosen to introduce Trump.

“Abdul Carter is a second year edge rusher for the New York Football Giants. He is from Philadelphia and graduated from Penn State. He is a devout Muslim who prays to Allah on the field before games, and is extremely open about his faith in and out of the locker room.”

But Carter chose to “rip” Dart.

“So with that background in mind, I have this to say to Abdul Carter: Muslim terrorists destroyed a large swathe of New York City in the name of Allah, yet you are accepted on your team and in NYC, and no one challenges your beliefs or your right to express them. So how about you shut the fudge up, focus on learning how to sack the QB at the NFL level, learn how to stay awake in team meetings, and stop tearing your team apart when your teammate is given the honor of introducing the president of the United States of America? This is a free country. You are free to worship a deity that enslaves women, and Dart is free to say hello to the president. How about you just accept that, Abdul? Deal?”
