Doctors and dossiers Sound off on Obamacare and your privacy This is another Republican red herring meant to frighten people A lot of the information collected we already give out again and again -- what's the big deal? It will give doctors immediate access to medical records so they can make the best decisions It will help prevent fraud by identifying people who don't qualify for government subsidies It's funny watching conservatives opposed to a woman's right to privacy now complaining about their lost privacy I'm not worried -- as the Obamacare-computer fiasco shows, the government isn't competent enough to enter the data, much less misuse it I don't like it, but it's what we have to do to solve the medical-care crisis This isn't health care, it's stalking I missed this part when I read the Constitution So this is what Obama meant by transparency -- he gets to know everything about us Will the woman who exercised her right to privacy now have the record of her abortion viewable by insurers, government bureaucrats and others? The government cannot protect the data from outsiders or its own evil inclinations This database will be a hacker's paradise – and no one in government will be held responsible for our losses The irony is that by turning doctors into government spies, people will avoid seeking the medical care they need My right to privacy has now become Obama's right to my privacy It will be an insult to the memory of those who died to secure Americans' freedom it they cooperate with this Other View Results Loading ...
