WND Scoops 2012

Pedophile groups invade Facebook

In an explosive report that was later picked up by media outlets around the world, WND revealed Facebook is a haven for child pornographers who trade thousands of pornographic photos on the social network. As part of an undercover news investigation, WND used alias Facebook profiles to locate dozens of child-porn images and immediately turned them over to the FBI.

“Eat Mor Chikin”

In August 2012, WND was first to report on the surge of Americans who flocked to support Chick-Fil-A in a national show of support for the eatery after the company’s president publicly stated his support for the biblical definition of marriage between one man and one woman.

Steal the vote

Of all the forms of election abuse and fraud, the most despicable is preventing, or in any way obstructing, soldiers from exercising their right to vote. Yet despite heated denials from the Obama administration, WND Managing Editor David Kupelian connected the dots and demonstrated how the Obama Justice Department was engaged in a campaign to suppress the military vote.

The following reports were also WND scoops in 2012:

In November 2012, WND revealed American citizens, starting with the state of Louisiana, petitioning the White House for the ability to peaceably withdraw their states from the union. The secession craze eventually resulted in petitions from nearly all 50 states.

WND broke the news when Dr. James Dobson took a defiant stand on Obamacare and issued a loud and clear message to President Obama: “I WILL NOT pay the surcharge for abortion services. … So come and get me if you must, Mr. President. I will not bow before your wicked regulation.”
In May 2012, WND reported how police in Norfolk, Va., slammed the city’s newspaper for its portrayal of a mob attack by large numbers of black teenagers against a young white couple in a car.

WND was first to report that the movie theater where Colorado gunman James Holmes opened fire July 20, 2012, killing 12 and wounded 58, had a strict policy against firearms on its premises – even for patrons with concealed handgun permits.

In March 2012, WND reported Rep. Walter B. Jones, R-N.C., introduced a resolution warning President Obama that if the U.S. bombed Syria without government approval, Congress would consider it an “impeachable high crime and misdemeanor.”

WND’s Chelsea Schilling took an in-depth look at polygamy in the United States, including Muslim men in America who are marrying multiple wives. On a popular Muslim dating site, WND found active profiles for married Muslim men seeking additional wives in every U.S. state (and Washington, D.C.) – except Alaska.

In August 2012, WND delivered an exclusive interview with country music legend Charlie Daniels, who unloaded the “dag-blamed truth” about President Obama’s efforts to change America into a “European, socialist thing.”

Mark Driscoll is one of the most popular mega-church pastors in the country, but in in “The Church of Sex,” WND Managing Editor David Kupelian revealed a side to Driscoll’s ministry that is, very simply, obsessed with sex.

In June 2012, WND broke the story of how despite Nik Wallenda’s frequent mentions of God the Father and Jesus during his high-wire crossing of Niagara Falls, an ABC News blog documenting virtually every moment of the achievement made no mention of his verbal thanks to the Creator.
