‘Disclosed classified information’: Judge blocks release of Joe Biden’s confessions to ghostwriter

A judge has ruled that the audio tapes of Joe Biden’s confessions to a ghostwriter won’t be revealed yet.

In yet another scenario suggesting Biden repeatedly fumbled mentally while president, evidence has been presented that he not only “willfully retained” classified information to which he was not entitled and kept classified government information in a stack of boxes in his garage, he also provided secrets to a ghostwriter working for him.

Special investigator Robert Hur in 2024 released a report hundreds of pages long confirming that Biden “retained” that information, but recommended against charging Biden, contrary to a standard already established under which President Donald Trump was charged, before the case was dropped.

Hur concluded Biden kept classified information in a stack of notebooks, “knowing he was not allowed to do so.”

The current dispute was over classified details that Biden, without authorization, gave to ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer.

A report at the Gateway Pundit explained, “According to Robert Hur, In 2017, Joe Biden read aloud classified passages about meetings in the Situation Room to his ghostwriter ‘verbatim on at least three occasions’ – and Biden still wasn’t charged. Mark Zwonitzer deleted digital audio files of recordings of his conversations with Biden after learning about Special Counsel Robert Hur’s appointment.”

The fight moved into the courts when the Oversight Project filed a freedom of information case demanding records from Hur’s investigation.

A judge now has denied the organization’s request, but U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich also rejected Biden’s request to use this case to block the release of the audiotapes to the House Judiciary Committee.

It had been reported recently the DOJ was getting ready to release audio of Biden’s interview with Hur. The report said, “The department is also going to release 2017 audio recordings of conversations with his ghostwriter in which he disclosed classified information.”

Biden’s claim of executive privilege over the audio recordings has been in dispute as the transcripts already have been released.

It was then Attorney General Merrick Garland who locked away the tapes.

”’

Zwonitzer reportedly deleted the recordings sometime as the investigation was developing but technicians were able to recover them.
