Look out, Linus and Charlie Brown!

The great pumpkin is on the loose this October.

An Uber driver captured video Sunday of a giant, inflatable fruit rolling down the road in Cary, North Carolina, with at least one man trying to squash the escape in its tracks.

AccuWeather posted video of the getaway, saying: “The great pumpkin escape! 🎃💨 A giant inflatable pumpkin made a run for it in Cary, North Carolina, just outside Raleigh, as strong winds from Isaias sent it rolling away. And yes, the pumpkin made it back home!”

A transcript of the Uber driver and his passenger has both chewing on what might happen:

Driver: “It’s gonna hit us!”

Passenger: “Can you turn around?”

Driver: “The pumpkin’s gonna hit my car and damage my car.”

Passenger: “Turn around before it hits you.”

Driver: “Ahhh! (Laughs) It’s coming so fast! Oh my gosh, look at this is crazy talk.”

Passenger: “Somebody is trying to get it.”

Driver: “Oh, he’s gonna get hurt. Should I help him?”

Passenger: “How is he gonna stop it?”

Driver: “Oh, it’s gonna get away on him. Oh no, he got it. Should I help? Nope, it’s still coming. Yeah, I’m gonna get out and help this guy.”
