The wife of Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom melted like a snowflake when President Donald Trump called a CBS News reporter a “horrible” person and a “disgrace” after the journalist read part of his suspected would-be assassin’s manifesto purporting Trump was a “pedophile, rapist and traitor.”

“My family and I watched the 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump and Norah O’Donnell last night, and we were shocked,” wrote Jennifer Newsom on Monday. “Seeing a president speak to a woman journalist with that level of contempt – and a clear allergy to facts – is disturbing, though at this point not unexpected given his pattern of behavior.

“But that is the problem. Because when that level of disrespect from the highest office in the country repeats itself, it starts to trickle down into our culture and define what power looks like, shaping how boys and plenty of men see women and girls and what they come to accept as normal behavior.”

She continued: “Add in rhetoric rooted in political division, amplified by a digital ecosystem that rewards outrage and misinformation, and this cultural norm of hate, othering, and misogyny becomes pervasive. Behavior that should be challenged gets normalized; what should raise concern is amplified and cheered on.

“It’s no wonder we have a culture that normalizes dominance and aggression toward women and girls, which not only silences them but also leads to internalized misogyny in others.”

Mrs. Newsom concluded: “Thank you to Norah, all of the female journalists, and frankly to all of YOU who continue to be brave and speak truth to power. This culture of misogyny is on all of us, and it has to end.”

As WorldNetDaily reported Sunday, O’Donnell said in her interview with the president: “The so-called manifesto is a stunning thing to read, Mr. President. He appears to reference a motive in it. He writes this quote, ‘Administration officials, they are targets.’ And he also wrote this, ‘I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.’ What’s your reaction to that?”

Trump responded: “Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would because … you’re horrible people. Horrible people. Yeah, he did write that. I’m not a rapist. I didn’t rape anybody.”

O’Donnell played dumb, asking Trump, “Oh you think – do you think he was referring to you?”

“I’m not a pedophile,” Trump fired back. “Excuse me. Excuse me. I’m not a pedophile. You read that crap from some sick person? I got associated with all – stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated.

“Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let’s say, Epstein or other things. But I said to myself, ‘You know, I’ll do this interview and they’ll probably’ – I read the manifesto. You know, he’s a sick person. But you should be ashamed of yourself reading that because I’m not any of those things.”

O’Donnell explained: “Mr. President, these are the gunman’s words …”

Trump interjected: “And I was never – excuse me. Excuse me. You shouldn’t be reading that on ’60 Minutes.’ You’re a disgrace. But go ahead. Let’s finish the interview.”

“You’re disgraceful,” Trump concluded.

Both O’Donnell and Jennifer Newsom are now facing severe criticism online.

Former U.S. Speaker Of the House Newt Gingrich says, “Norah O’Donnell may have reached the low point in disgusting and inhumane demagoguery disguised as journalism.

“The idea that you would take the vicious dishonest and disgusting words of a would be killer who had been blocked by the Secret Service but would otherwise have killed a lot of people and you would dignify them by putting them on the air and asking the President of the United States to comment is about as destructive as anything a major reporter has done in a long time. She should be fired for demeaning her entire profession and being the mouthpiece of a would be killer.”

Former CBS journalist Stella Escobedo also encouraged network chief Bari Weiss to fire O’Donnell, indicating, “if you actually want real change at CBS News, it starts with new talent. You can’t keep the same faces and expect a different outcome.

“Norah O’Donnell has been openly anti-Trump. I worked at CBS and saw her bash Trump. If the goal is credibility, this isn’t how you get there.”

Journalist Miranda Devine of the New York Post and Fox News noted: “What’s really disgusting about this clip is Norah O’Donnell’s fake innocent surprise: ‘oh you think he was referring to you?’ She knows perfectly well that every day some fellow Democrat like Ted Lieu calls Trump a pedophile and rapist. Their white supremacy lies ran out of steam so this is the new hoax. Rich from a party that protects illegal alien child molesters.”

Devine also posted: “Reminder that Norah O’Donnell squashed CBS correspondent Catherine Herridge’s reporting on Hunter Biden laptop before the 2020 election. Herridge later was forced out of CBS. O’Donnell keeps her job, applying the opposite standards to Trump than she did with Biden.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer Newsom is being hammered by the likes of pundit Gunther Eagleman, who urged her to “spare us the fake feminist outrage. You’re the same woman who cozied up to [convicted sex offender] Harvey Weinstein, and helped shut down his victims.

“Trump called out a biased hack journalist the exact same way he’d call out a man. That’s called equality, something you and Gavin clearly don’t understand.”

Online pundit MAZE shared a news clip about Jennifer seeking advice from Weinstein, and opined: “Not everyone is an expert in dealing with the media. For instance, that’s why you reached out to Harvey Weinstein for advice for Gavin after he slept with his secretary.”

As WorldNetDaily reported earlier this month, a resurfaced video clip of Newsom’s wife telling prison inmates they probably committed their violent crimes by “accident” is being hammered by top names on the political right, including Hollywood star James Woods who says Jennifer Newsom is “an even more dreadful monster than her vile, dangerous, deranged husband.”

Is the news we hear every day actually broadcasting messages from God? The answer is an absolute yes! Find out how!
