President Donald Trump on Wednesday said Iran has “taken too long to negotiate” a peace deal, adding “now they will have to pay the price!”
In a post on Truth Social, Trump indicated: “Iran’s Military is a complete and total mess. Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn’t even exist anymore – They have been completely defeated. Iran is all talk and no action. The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!!
“They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!!!”
In another post, Trump said: “The Fake News Media refuses to report how EFFECTIVE the U.S. Naval BLOCKADE is, the most successful Blockade in the history of Naval Warfare. NOTHING GETS THROUGH unless we want it to. IT IS A STEEL WALL!
“Iran is doing ZERO business, not paying their military, or any of their bills, and quickly becoming a FAILED NATION! Lots of oil is getting out.”
Trump then trolled the leaders of the Islamic Republic by signing out, “Praise be to Allah!”
The president also provided more details about a U.S. Army helicopter crash caused by an Iranian drone Monday, as Trey Yingst of Fox News said trump told him it was “a miracle”: “The Iranian drone lodged in between the two pilots in this helicopter. They were flying very low. And at that point, the drone didn’t explode as it had intended to.
“And so these pilots were trying to take down the helicopter with the drone lodged into this gunship without it exploding and at any moment, it could have exploded.
“He said it was on fire, there was a lot of heat inside the cockpit of this helicopter. And ultimately these two pilots were able to take it down into the sea where ultimately they were rescued for the first time in U.S. military history by an unmanned sea drone.”

“Interestingly, President Trump told me that he is getting close to ordering new strikes against Iranian power plants and bridges because he says the Iranians are tapping the United States along when it comes to the negotiating process.”
Yingst added: “He told me, ‘I may keep going.'”

Tuesday night, U.S. Central Command forces completed self-defense strikes against Iran in response to Monday’s downing of the U.S. Army Apache helicopter.
Officials said: “CENTCOM forces struck Iranian air defense, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz with precision munitions from U.S. Air Force and Navy fighter jets. The operation was a proportional response to recent attacks on U.S. forces and international commercial ships transiting regional waters.
“U.S. forces remain vigilant and postured to defend against unjustified Iranian aggression.”
