Nurse who boasted about denying treatment to fans of 1 network learns fate

A nurse at the University of Texas Medical Branch has learned her fate after she posted a video online that raised huge ethical questions.

In it, someone who appears to be a nurse backs out of a doorway, with the words on the screen, “When I walk into my patient’s room and Fox news is blasting.”

A report from commentator Todd Starnes explains the music playing is Whitney Houston, “we both know I’m not what you need,” from her song “I Will Always Love You.”

The report confirmed the medical center launched an immediate investigation.

And officials there confirmed, “UTMB is aware of the social media posts and is conducting an investigation. This individual’s access to work at any UTMB facility has been suspended while the investigation is ongoing.”

Shortly later, the health center said that individual was a contract worker and her employment had been terminated.

Social media responses included:

“How stupid can she really be, she think this wouldn’t stop her employment asap, they just can’t help but expose themselves constantly.”

“She shouldn’t be a nurse ANYWHERE!”

“Texas should revoke her license, this is very common behavior and patient are aware and fear.”

“She needs to go. Problem is some are smarter and not posting about it on social media. Get anyone of the jihadi faith OUT of our healthcare systems.”
