Larry Kudlow, the former director of the National Economic Council during the first Trump administration and now Fox Business anchor, is torching U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., for trying distance herself from her own super-left positions.
AOC appeared Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” program, telling host Jonathan Karl that regarding those positions, “Woke One was crazy.”

On Monday, Kudlow lashed into the socialist-leaning congresswoman.
“Yeah, this is beyond goofiness. ‘Woke One’ is crazy. Nonsense!” Kudlow began. “AOC is trying to back out of a lot of issues and a lot of values that she herself has stood for.”
“And there’s no such thing as blaming something called ‘Woke One.’ You can’t laugh off defunding the police. Or 20 million illegal immigrants from open borders.”
“Or closing down schools and colleges and businesses, all of which created unbelievable physical and mental and psychological hardship and torment and loneliness and alcohol and drug addictions and suicides and family breakups, and just about everything else that these crazy left wingers try to put on our head.”
“Framing white supremacy as an embedded systemic American problem, defund the police, racial justice project, immigration rhetoric centered on racializing and systemic cruelty, green new deals, combination of climate policy with sweeping, again, system injustices, abolishing ICE, putting men in women’s sports.”
“Come on! Ms. Cortez cannot laugh this stuff off. She said it, and one way or another, she continues to say it because she believes it. There’s no denial here. They’re all non-denial, denials.”
“By the way, because she believes it, a recent poll shows her growing unpopularity in her congressional district in the New York City boroughs.”
