‘Farmers can smell BS from a mile away’: Klobuchar hit with jeers, guffaws for telling ‘whopper’ at debate

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., has for years been part of her party’s apparatus in support of Joe Biden’s open borders agenda.

As just one example, she voted against the very popular Laken Riley Act, which allows the Department of Homeland Security to detain and deport any foreign nationals in the U.S. illegally who are accused of theft-related crimes, assaulting law enforcement officers, or committing acts that cause serious injury or death.

It became law anyway, with President Donald Trump’s signature after the Senate’s 64-35 vote to approve it.

Polling showed about 80% of Americans like the plan.

Then this week at a debate – she’s running for governor in Minnesota to replace the failed Tim Walz – she claimed she’s on the cutting edge of border order.

“I’ve long believed and supported funding for order at the border. And I have worked well with law enforcement in Minnesota for years,” she claimed.

The audience, including farmers from her state, responded with jeers and guffaws, prompting the moderator to try without much success to restore order.

She finished her response by scolding voters, with, “So don’t.”

A report at Not the Bee said she delivered “one of the biggest whoppers of all time.”

The report continued, “She was shocked that the crowd wasn’t buying her BS. But believe me, farmers can smell BS from a mile away. … This was at a gubernatorial debate on Wednesday. She was sharing a stage with Mike Lindell from MyPillow. And she’s the butt of the jokes. Yet her brazen lies about immigration and border security forced the moderator to step in and silence the crowd.”

It continued, “The idea that any national Democrat can claim they’re pro-border security after they propped up the Biden admin and border czar Kamala’s open borders for 4 years is a joke.”

Those commenting on social media were brutal:

“It was a hilarious lie though!”

“Further confessions of the alternative reality the Left lives in.”

“They are so used to lying that they are caught off guard when people notice.”

“Democrats should be openly mocked. They want the Biden open border policies reinstated.”

“She has the nerve to tell people don’t boo her.”

There was one apparently in support: “She meant, orderly immigration, handing out welfare checks on their way into the USA.”
