A Democrat candidate for a U.S. House seat from Michigan has said he wants a world without borders. And to redistribute land. And money.
The extremist agenda has come from the mouth of William Lawrence, running for a House seat in Michigan.
A report posted at the Free Beacon explains Lawrence “has a long history — from which he only recently pivoted — of advocating for ‘revolution,’ especially on issues related to ‘climate disaster and conflict.'”
He has insisted on a “world without borders,” along with imposition of his agenda to “redistribute all the land and all the money” to make up for America’s “evil deeds,” the report charged.
Formerly a Democratic Socialist who left that party just weeks ago, he issued the statements not even two years ago, and now claims his agenda was just “thinking out loud on the internet.”

The Free Beacon noted Lawrence helped start “the confrontational environmentalist group the Sunrise Movement, which has called for a ‘climate revolution,’ embraced the far-left positions on redistribution and open borders in an Oct. 22, 2024, episode of the Hegemonicon podcast he hosts for Convergence, a publication that describes itself as a ‘magazine for radical insights.'”
It was on an episode on “Protecting Our Migrant Neighbors” when he said, “We are lacking for a framework that can make sense of how to be revolutionary in the sense of truly, truly wanting a world without borders and wanting to redistribute all the land and all the money.”
He claimed that would be fair because taking money and land from some and giving it to others would solve an economic inequality that resulted from “violence and evil deeds.”
He also wanted to insist on his vision of “a world without borders.”
Republicans also have pointed out that Lawrence advocated for defunding the police, and he called black political leaders a “big problem for Left politics.’
The report noted he also wanted the destruction of “the American way of life” and he praised the 2024 collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore because it choked off coal exports.
Six people also died when the bridge was hit by a ship and failed, the report said.
His opinions now? “I don’t support open borders. I remain a staunch critic of the political status quo, and the obscene concentration of wealth and power that corrupts our politics and leaves working people unrepresented.”
