Abortion has hit America’s boardrooms, the newest fight being heard by officials with Fedex, who were warned by their own shareholders of the liability they assume when they ship the chemicals used in the chemical abortion industry.
A report at the Daily Wire said shareholders have urged the corporation “to investigate the use of its services to mail the abortion pill.”
The resolution points that the shipping corporation faces possible legal and reputational risks if activists use its services to ship abortion pills.
The use of chemicals to destroy the unborn across America has exploded since the Roe v. Wade decision that returned regulation of abortion to the states, since there is no federal constitutional right to abortion.
It’s because those chemicals can be shipped into states that put limits on abortion, without any hindrance. More than 20 states ban medication abortions, but they are shipped across state boundaries anyway.
“While the FedEx board opposed the pro-life shareholder resolution, the proposal’s fate will not be known until later this week after the votes are tallied,” the report explained.
The resolution was introduced by Pia de Solenni, the vice president of corporate engagement of Catholic capital advisory firm IWP Capital.
She said, “FedEx prohibits the shipment of Kinder Surprise Eggs. If the company can prohibit a candy toy, it can prohibit a drug that violates the law in more than 20 states and has harmed a growing number of women, not to mention destroyed countless human lives.”
Kinder Surprise Eggs are banned in the U.S. over concerns that children could choke on small toys hidden inside.

The resolution demands the company evaluate “how it oversees risks related to distributing mail-order abortion drugs such as mifepristone and detailing any strategies beyond litigation and legal compliance the company may deploy to mitigate these risks.”
The board said it already operates “in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and maintaining robust policies and procedures designed to support lawful and ethical business operations.”
UPS also has been confronted with the same plan.
Indiana bars medication abortions as illegal, and Attorney General Todd Rokita has called for both FedEx and UPS to establish clear prohibitions on the shipping of abortion drugs.
According to Live Action, the campaign already has convinced Costco to abstain from trafficking in the deadly chemicals.
