With some major news agencies complaining that President Donald Trump has kicked them out of the White House, they are now being hammered by administration officials as well as their own colleagues in the media.
As WorldNetDaily reported, Trump this week banned CNN, MS NOW and Politico from having in-person access to the White House, calling them liars.
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz reminded CNN Sunday that no news outlet is granted free access to any government facility.
On the network’s “State of the Union” broadcast, anchor Dana Bash lamented: “I’m at a loss for words, especially when the president says he doesn’t want negative reporting. It is critical reporting. It is intended to get facts.”
Waltz replied: “There’s a big difference between negative reporting and garbage, gossip journalism that will sit on one anonymous source and puts it out in the ether-sphere, and it’s been repeated by other journalists as fact.”
He reminded bash that former President Joe Biden did not allow every news agency into the White House.
“The prior administration limited all kinds of journalistic outfits and journalists themselves that they deemed as right-wing,” Waltz explained. “Those have now been allowed onto the facility, and the president doesn’t believe others are acting in good faith.”
“I just saw one yesterday use anonymous sources referencing someone who’s dead.”

“I would hope that the media would take a good introspective look at itself and its practices because it throws things out there and then puts a little baby correction that nobody pays attention to, and it sticks to people like napalm.”
“It is incredible frustrating … but meanwhile, the Supreme Court has been very clear in multiple cases going back to the 60s … there is a difference in your right to speak and difference in your right to publish than having access to any government facility you want.”
Independent journalist Nick Sortor, who has not been banned by Trump, posted footage of the ousted network airing live shots from Washington, D.C., streets after they were given the boot.
“CNN and MS NOW have all their gear strewn on the sidewalks outside the White House following their evictions 🤣” he noted.
“Crews were seen loading their equipment onto handcarts and wheeling them off WH grounds. This is ridiculously entertaining 😂.”

Sortor responded : “I wish I would’ve thought of this 🤣.”
Journalist Benny Johnson of “The Benny Show” said “CNN and MSNBC reporters burst into tears outside the White House gate after being banned.”
He reminded viewers: “Joe Biden banned 500 different reporters from the White House, mainly center-right or conservative reporters that might ask uncomfortable questions about the single most rigged presidency of our lifetime.”
“Joe Biden did a total of like seven press conferences his entire time as resident of the White House and they banned the media from asking him questions. They pre-scripted questions, this has been proven and no reporters had any problem with that.”
“These same reporters cheered and danced like goblins when Trump was banned from YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and then debanked. Free speech only matters when THEY are under attack.”

Johnson added: “These news channels never aired Trump’s rallies live. They clipped him, talked over him, and sneered while depriving their viewers of the president’s voice. Hard to argue now they need access to Trump.
“Freedom of speech is not freedom of access. The First Amendment argument collapses when you understand the limiting principles of these people. They can keep lying from the sidewalk.”
