It will be some time yet before all of the details are known about the pilot aboard a FlyDubai jetliner carrying some 180 people who attacked the other pilot, and allegedly tried to crash the plane in a terror attack.
But there is a report about the two pilots who were passengers, and stepped into the cockpit to save the lives of those aboard.
They reportedly were a Ukrainian, and a Russian, whose nations right now are at war.
A report at PJMedia said, “In an extraordinary example of individuals from hostile countries working together to save lives, Israeli media that spoke with airport authorities are saying that the alternate pilot crew who landed a hijacked flight safely included a Russian and a Ukrainian.”

It was a Muslim, apparently the co-pilot, who allegedly launched a violent assault on the captain, who was injured. The attacker screamed, “Death to America. Death to Trump. Alahu Akbar.”

Two passengers, both pilots, took control of the cockpit and made a safe emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, reports suggested.

One of the reports was from Israel Hayom, which spoke with officials at the Tabuk airport in Saudi Arabia, who confirmed the nationalities.
Reports now suggest the attacking co-pilot is Omani and the attacked pilto is Emirati.
Oman has been consistently supportive of the Iranian regime in its ongoing conflict with Israel this year. Israel Hayom clarified that there was a Russian and Ukrainian pilot crew on board, but that they were off duty and only took control when the other pilots were unable to do so because of their fight.

Israeli Hayom reported, “Authorities at Tabuk Airport confirmed that emergency responders rushed both injured aviators to a local hospital upon touchdown. Control of the aircraft was seized midair by two off-duty flight crew members – a Russian pilot and a Ukrainian pilot – who managed to neutralize the threat and navigate the airliner to a safe landing in Saudi Arabia.”
